So this last week we cellebrated our independance from the Queen and watched explosions that would make any war veteran drop to the ground. It was priceless, really. Riverside Utah is quaint and cute and love to throw parties, or at least on the 4th they do. Scott Macfarlane asked the Castanettes to play at a party near the town park and we accepted. We rocked some socks off but the real story of the night was the fireworks.

Most fireworks displays require you to stand blah blah blah feet from blah blah blah at all blah blah blah times. Not in small hickville USA. We layed directly below the fireworks and enjoyed them as Kelsi played her game of ‘fireworks guessing.’ (you will have to ask her) Then we went to Denny’s where I locked her keys in the car and made everyone’s night at least 1/2 hour later. Huray for me right?

Saturday came and went and Sunday meant time on the grass at the Alumni band concert. I couldn’t wait, and neither could michael. He was talking about it for weeks. I think he kept on saying “EEeaahhhh” and shrugging, but I KNEW what he was saying. He was saying, “Don’t bug me I am thinking of different artistic photos I will take at the Alumni band concert. ” And as I handed over the phone, the artist inside of michael came out below:

the Hope of Cache Valley

So I found this letter the other day:

My tears like many of yours are long since gone since the departure of the Carrolls from this little valley. (I imagine they are gone anyway) But I can’t forget the impact they had. They showed us Loganites that we had hope. I don’t have the exact same sentiment, and don’t get me wrong, I actually like Bailey and Jacee, they are very nice people. But I don’t think we should hold someone up for their ability in Sports. There are many good people in this valley like Cannon Holmgren and the Guy on 10th north that used to preach and is now deported to Colombia (sad). Among many others. So I urge you to look up to someone that is close to you, a brother, sister, mother, Daddy or Friend. I will ever be grateful that I received this letter, even if it was from someone I don’t know.

AJ probably didn’t mean to get me blogging, but he did. Being Kelsi’s little brother, I wanted to check out his BLOG and so I did, but I HAD to read the rest of the BLOGS. So I read about Erica’s busy day… cool, interesting at least. Traci’s (apparently updated by someone else) was cool. And also Dan’s, he looks like he has been busy, I think the last one was in February. Then I glanced at Kennady’s Page, nice. Cute photos of the McCall kids etc. Then I click on the McCall’s. BLOCKED. Well, that meant I HAD to sign up and here I am.

Things are well, for the most part, but work has been busy as of late and I am trying to get less annoyed at work, and more considerate. But I am not quite what I should be yet, we are going through a transition period, where all of the secretaries we had a year ago decided to make families with Babies. This is cool, but it means more patience till everything is up and going smoothly.

Really things aren’t bad at work, but this BLOG makes me write about something mundane, and to me seems very plain, but you read all of it, right? CWJ
